Easy Cheesy Cheddar, Scallion, Ham Quiche

I love a good quiche!....Always enjoy quiche from La Madeleine...or this is a good one and so easy to make at home!....Would go great with a potato galette, or potato hash with bell peppers!

Ingredients:

1 (9 inch deep dish) pie crust

4 large eggs

2 cups half and half (not fat-free)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced ham

1/3 cup chopped green onions

1/4 teaspoon each salt, pepper, and paprika

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Put oven rack in lower third of oven.  In medium bowl, whisk eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients and pour over pie crust, filling to the top. Bake for 20 minutes.  Reduce heat to 325 degrees F and continue baking for another 45 minutes.  Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.  (While cooking you may want to place your pie tin on top of a baking sheet to catch any possible spills.)
